FOR BEGINNERS
Starting out at the club beginners will learn new stretching techniques passed on from ancient Chinese methods and then work on cardio and strength through calisthenics. Each class will teach new techniques. Balance and movement will improve in the first few weeks. By the end of the first month beginners can expect to have a good foundation of punching and kicking techniques as well as the methods for dodging and blocking these attacks.
Once a student is comfortable with their ability to use this new knowledge effectively they may choose to start practicing techniques through light contact sparring.
The club always ensures a safe and controlled environment so that students can improve their skills.
Once these skills are learned well, students may be given the choice to join the fighter’s class which takes the training to a new level of conditioning and dedication.
